What does Non-Comedogenic Oils means?

Noncomedogenic oils are less likely to clog pores and cause acne breakouts. They are often used in skincare products for acne-prone skin. Some common noncomedogenic oils include jojoba oil, argan oil, grapeseed oil, and rosehip oil. These oils are all lightweight and have a low tendency to form comedones, which are the primary factors contributing to acne development.

List of Non-Comedogenic Oils for Face:

  1. Jojoba Oil: Jojoba oil closely resembles the skin's natural sebum and is well-tolerated by most skin types.

  2. Argan Oil: Derived from the kernels of the Moroccan argan tree, argan oil is lightweight and moisturizing without clogging pores.

How to use Oils on Face?

 

  1. Cleanse your face: Start with a gentle cleanser to remove any dirt, makeup, or impurities from your skin. This allows the oil to penetrate more effectively.

  2. Apply a toner (optional): If you typically use a toner in your skincare routine, you can apply it after cleansing to balance the skin's pH levels.

  3. Use oils as a moisturizer: After cleansing (and toning, if desired), take a few drops of your chosen noncomedogenic oil into your hands and warm it up by rubbing your palms together. Gently press the oil onto your face, distributing it evenly. You can also use a clean cotton pad or your fingertips to apply the oil.

  4. Massage the oil into the skin: Use upward, circular motions to massage the oil into your face. This promotes better absorption and can help stimulate circulation.

  5. Allow the oil to absorb: Give the oil some time to absorb into your skin before applying any other products or makeup. This allows the oil to deeply moisturize and nourish your skin.
