Chilled Beverage


Blue Pea Mint Lemonade:

Ingredients: Butterfly Blue Pea Tea, fresh mint leaves, lemon juice, honey, ice cubes.

Preparation: Brew tea, cool, mix with lemon juice, honey, and mint. Serve over ice.


Blue Pea Berry Splash:

Ingredients: Butterfly Blue Pea Tea, mixed berries, a hint of agave syrup, sparkling water, ice.

Preparation: Brew tea, chill, blend with berries and agave, top with sparkling water. Garnish with berries.



Warm Drink


Vanilla Blue Pea Latte:

Ingredients: Butterfly Blue Pea Tea, milk, vanilla extract, honey.

Preparation: Brew tea, heat milk, mix with tea, add vanilla extract and honey to taste.


Spiced Blue Pea Chai:

Ingredients: Butterfly Blue Pea Tea, chai spices, milk, sugar.

Preparation: Brew tea with chai spices, heat milk, mix, sweeten to preference.


Clitoria ternatea (Blue pea) is a plant from the Fabaceae family. The flowers are ornamental and are traditionally used as a food colorant. C. ternatea is also referred to as the butterfly pea, blue pea, aprajita, Cordofan pea, or Asian pigeonwings, and is commonly found throughout South East Asia. The bright blue petals from the flowers of the butterfly-pea plant have been used as an ingredient in herbal tea, caffeine-free, or tisane. C. ternatea flower extracts were found to possess antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, cytotoxic, and antidiabetic activities, and also has been used as a memory enhancer, nootropic, anti-stress, anxiolytic, antidepressant, anticonvulsant, tranquilizer, and sedative agent

How to Make

1. Pour 1 cup of water into your kettle and bring it to a boil.

2. Turn off the heat and add 1 teaspoon of tea. Now, cover your kettle so that the steam doesn’t escape. Steep for 8-10 minutes.

3. Strain your tea properly and enjoy the warm cup.

To make an ICED tea, add 5-6 cubes into your cup and stir well.

The Butterfly Pea flower is said to have amazing benefits as it is an antioxidant. Also, this tea has no flavoring making it close to a very natural effect! A bit pricey but I do enjoy it served cold without sugar! Highly Recommended!
