WHY SHOULD YOU GET OUR MATCHA TEA?

WHY MATCHA TEA SHOULD BE PART OF YOUR LIFESTYLE?
-
High in Antioxidants: Matcha tea is rich in catechins, a type of antioxidant that helps protect the body from oxidative stress and free radicals. The most abundant catechin in matcha is epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), which is believed to have strong health-promoting properties.
-
Boosts Metabolism: Some studies suggest that the combination of caffeine and catechins in matcha may help boost metabolism and promote fat oxidation, potentially aiding in weight management.
-
Enhances Mental Alertness: Matcha contains caffeine, albeit less than coffee, which can provide a gentle energy boost and improved mental alertness without the jitters and crashes often associated with coffee.
-
Calming Effect: Matcha contains an amino acid called L-theanine, which can promote relaxation and a sense of calm without causing drowsiness. This combination of L-theanine and caffeine is thought to contribute to the focused yet relaxed state often associated with drinking matcha.
-
Supports Heart Health: Regular consumption of green tea, including matcha, has been associated with a reduced risk of heart disease. It can help lower levels of bad LDL cholesterol and improve overall heart health.
-
Promotes Detoxification: Some proponents of matcha claim that its chlorophyll content supports detoxification by helping the body eliminate toxins. However, more research is needed to confirm these claims.
-
Contains Vitamins and Minerals: Matcha is a good source of vitamins and minerals, including vitamins A, C, and E, as well as potassium, calcium, and iron.
-
Supports Cognitive Function: The combination of caffeine and L-theanine in matcha may have cognitive benefits, such as improved focus, attention, and memory.
-
Enhances Immune Function: The antioxidants in matcha may help strengthen the immune system, potentially reducing the risk of infections and illnesses.
-
Aids in Relaxation: The ritual of preparing and drinking matcha can promote mindfulness and relaxation, offering a break from the stresses of daily life.

HOW TO MAKE HIBISCUS TEA THE NATURAL WAY?
You can prepare both chilled and warm matcha tea and matcha lattes using matcha powder. Here are step-by-step instructions for making each:
Warm Matcha Tea:
Ingredients:
- 1-2 teaspoons of high-quality matcha powder
- Hot water (not boiling, around 175°F or 80°C)
- Optional sweetener (e.g., honey, sugar, or a sugar substitute)
Instructions:
- Sift the matcha powder into a matcha bowl or a cup to remove any lumps and ensure a smooth consistency.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder to your bowl or cup.
- Pour in a small amount of hot water (about 2 ounces or 60 ml).
- Use a bamboo whisk (chasen) or a small whisk to vigorously whisk the matcha and hot water together in a "W" or "M" motion until a frothy layer forms on top.
- Gradually add the rest of the hot water (about 6 ounces or 180 ml) while continuing to whisk until the matcha is well dissolved.
- Taste the matcha tea and adjust the sweetness to your liking by adding a sweetener if desired. Stir to combine.
Chilled Matcha Tea:
To make chilled matcha tea, follow the same steps as for warm matcha tea but use cold water or ice cubes instead of hot water. Here's how:
- Sift the matcha powder into a cup.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder.
- Add cold water or ice cubes (about 8 ounces or 240 ml).
- Whisk vigorously until the matcha is fully dissolved and frothy.
- Adjust sweetness if desired.
Matcha Latte (Warm or Chilled):
Ingredients:
- 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder
- 2 ounces (60 ml) of hot water (for warm latte) or cold water (for chilled latte)
- 6 ounces (180 ml) of milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- Optional sweetener (e.g., honey, sugar, or a sugar substitute)
Instructions:
- Sift the matcha powder into a cup.
- Add 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder.
- Pour in 2 ounces (60 ml) of hot water (for a warm latte) or cold water (for a chilled latte).
- Whisk vigorously until the matcha is dissolved and frothy.
- In a separate container, heat the milk until it's hot but not boiling (for a warm latte) or use cold milk (for a chilled latte).
- Froth the milk using a milk frother or by whisking vigorously.
- Pour the frothed milk into the matcha mixture.
- Sweeten your matcha latte to taste, if desired, and stir to combine.
You can adjust the amount of matcha, water, milk, and sweetener according to your taste preferences. Enjoy your homemade matcha tea or matcha latte!
